Who We Are
A Little Bit About Us
J Francis Roberts & Son, based in the Wrexham area, has been offering funeral services to the people of Wrexham and surrounding areas, including Chester, Gresford, Cefn-mawr, Acrefair, Rhosymedre, Trevor, Llangollen, Rhos, Ponciau, Pen-y-cae, Johnstown and Rossett, for over 120 years. During this time we have become well known and respected locally for our caring and personal approach. We can take care of all aspects of your funeral arrangements; from choosing the coffin to organising flowers, memorial masonry, transport, catering, newspaper notices and more.
A crucial aspect of what we do is to ensure you deal with the same person from beginning to end, from the moment you contact us, through to the funeral service, and then afterwards also. On the day of the service, you can be assured of a familiar face to lead you through what is obviously a truly terrible time. We believe you will be more confident under the guidance of a person that you have become used to associating with rather than a stranger. This is a real benefit of being a small, independent family-run business with a true dedication to helping families cope during their very difficult time. All religions and requests can be catered for, allowing you to honour your loved one in an intimate and appropriate way.
J Francis Roberts & Son Funeral Directors Wrexham are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We also have a private chapel of rest. We are members of the National Association of Funeral Directors, a demonstration of our commitment to high professional standards.
We believe that one of our key strengths is rooted in the idea that we are a community-minded business. We work closely with local services, amenities and groups; there is no doubt of the
importance the community has on the economics in the local area. The family-run Funeral Directors are actively involved in sponsoring Cefn-Druids Football Club, Plas Kynaston Bowling Club and Oswestry Rugby Club. We also feature in the Cefn-mawr Community News brochure.
Our years of growing up and working in the local area allow us to recommend quality local services and amenities (such as stone masonry, catering, florists, printers etc) that will only come to enhance the personal and unique service bereaved families can confidently utilise when arranging a funeral. Having such an array of services to hand has helped remove the stress of making appropriate arrangements for loved ones.
It’s our sole aim to help you arrange or plan a funeral with care, respect, clarity and reassurance. We’re available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to listen, advise and guide you through all your options. We understand how difficult this can be and we promise to help you every step of the way.
