Bethania Chapel

Bethania Chapel, Acrefair, was purchased by J Francis Roberts & Son in 2010 and has since been beautifully restored. The Chapel was purchased due to the belief that the building should retain its original function; a space that the community can use come together in. Whether you are religious or not, the Chapel is now a place of tranquillity and calm. The space feels intimate whilst providing seating for up to 75 people. The interior retains the feel of a Chapel but without religious attributes.

The Chapel is also where J  Francis Roberts & Son now care for loved ones prior to a funeral. It is a place for friends and family to reflect and grieve in peace.

What can I use the Chapel for?

Services of Remembrance

The Chapel is often used for a service of remembrance on the day of a funeral. Some people use the Chapel for a service on a later date of their choice. Having a service of remembrance after the date of the funeral can give families and friends the opportunity to get together on a day which suits them. It can provide some much needed breathing space and time to contemplate and consider the kind of tribute, service or celebration of life you would like to hold for your loved one.  J Francis Roberts & Son are available to help you design a service which reflects your ideas and wishes.

Weddings and Christenings

The chapel is also used for celebrations including blessings before or after a wedding, and
renewal of wedding vows.
